Dr. Selçuk Güney, MD

Overview

Dr. Selçuk Güney is an experienced ENT Specialist (Otolaryngologist) in Istanbul with a special focus on Rhinology, Functional Rhinoplasty, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, and Nasal Airway Disorders. A graduate of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology in 1996 at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. In 1995, he received the prestigious MASHAV Fellowship and conducted research at Tel Aviv University under Prof. Jacob Sade. His work was published in the internationally recognized Annals of Otology, Rhinology & Laryngology. He also completed advanced training in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) in Israel. With more than 40 scientific publications, international presentations, and years of academic teaching, Dr. Güney combines evidence-based medicine with extensive surgical experience. Since 1995, he has pioneered the concept of Functional Rhinoplasty, emphasizing both aesthetic improvement and preservation of nasal breathing. His clinical interests also include chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, septoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facial nerve disorders, and minimally invasive facial treatments.
